Next major solo show is planned for the end of April 2014. The "Short Story" project will involve me working from a text i have created and making sculptures, drawings and paintings in response to each part of the text. The text is divided into 7 parts. 2-3 months will be devoted for each section and all works, including sketches and notes created during that time, will be documented and presented in a book form at the exhibition. Between April 2013 and April 2014 as i create works for this show, expect to see examples posted on my website. I will ultimately make a selection from all peices created to exhibit in the space at 69 Smith Street Gallery..Im so excited about this process and sharing all stages of its development with you. SHORT STORY:
Once upon a time...there was a young girl...who gazed up at the sky a lot....One day a star came down to take a closer look at her...to sing her stories of sunrises and sunsets...The star entered her heart...and decided to stay a while
- Efrossini has begun offering her services to businesses around town that need high quality chalk art for blackboard menus and walls..see examples at 'Veludo Bar' St kilda and 'The Fringe' in Little Lonsdale st CBD.
- Efrossini in March 2012 launched her "Efi's Art" project: face painting, carticatures, portraits, hariwraps and body painting for children's parties, special events and gift ideas
- "Constellation 4 " in 2011 won second prize at Fairfeild primrary school art show judged by the opening speaker "Jim Pavlidis" Illustrator for the Age Newspaper
